Along with the familiar, all-electric drivetrain capable of a 0-60 miles per hour jaunt of 2.8 seconds, the Model S now features an onboard medical grade HEPA air filtration system aptly called Defense Mode, adaptive LED headlamps for safer driving at night, and an Autopilot feature that offers lane steering, one touch lane changes, speed management, traffic-aware cruise control, and digital control of motors, brakes, and steering.
