2018 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic

Published By

The new Heritage Classic is one of HD’s 8 returning softail bikes for 2018. New here is the Milwaukee-Eight big twin engine (available on the ‘17 Touring bikes) a twin cylinder, 8 valve engine that ups the airflow for more power while the single cam configuration offers lower maintenance. The saddlebags this time around are rigid, sealed and lockable (but still leather wrapped for looks) and the wind screen detaches easily for cruising.

The lighter, stiffer softail frame is made from fewer components and welds for a better handling, more rigid chassis and all around reduced weight. The Heritage-standard hidden rear suspension is here, for the look of a hardtail with the ride of a soft. The front suspension is new too, with a racing style cartridge fork. Black is the standard, but with a bump in price you can get yours with a 2-toned or matte paint finish. – $19,000+
