Adidas didn’t let any grass grow under their feet after the success of their Energy Boost Shoes. Their latest high-performance kicks, the Springblade Running Shoes ($180), promise to put some extra bounce in your step thanks to 16 different elastic polymer blades that have replaced the traditional EVA foam midsole. Each blade is carefully engineered to release the compressed energy stored from each step, thus propelling you forward with more force on push off much like a spring. Available August 1st in major retail stores nationwide.
