We tend to be pretty rough with our gear, so we wouldn’t expect anything made from cardboard to have a shelf life of more than a few weeks. The Cardboard Radio is no exception. It features an FM radio and speaker capabilities, allowing you to plug up your iPod or iPhone and listen to some tunes at a reasonable level without sacrificing a whole lot of quality. It is, however, still made from cardboard, and although friendly to the environment and a fairly unique concept, its eventual demise after one good party will probably land it in the trash can. Good thing it’s only forty bucks.
