After a series of natural disasters threaten life on planet Earth, the leaders of the world came together to create a system of satellites to control the world’s climate. Everything is just as it should be until the network of satellites designed to protect Earth begin attacking it. GeoStorm stars Gerard Butler, is directed by Dean Devlin — co-writer of the 1996 hit Independence Day — and is set to hit theaters in October, 2017.
