Jeep Wagoneer Roadtrip Concept

Published By

Every spring, serious Jeep junkies converge on Moab for nine days of intense (and insanely beautiful) trail riding during the Easter Jeep Safari. Most go to ride slickrock, sandstone, steep climbs and precipitous descents, but some, as in the case of Fiat Chrysler, go to show off their new toys. This year Jeep and Mopar are bringing seven custom concepts to the event, ranging in style from good old fashioned nostalgia to built-for-speed desert racers.

In the nostalgia camp is the Wagoneer Roadtrip Concept. With a 5.7 liter V8 engine wrapped in the original steel body and painted a cool mint green, it looks a lot like something you’d see in a photo album from a 70s national park family vacation. The front and rear seats are classic benches, trimmed this time around in oxblood red leather. The 17-inch steel wheels with BF Goodrich Mud-Terrains help improve the off-road ability.
