Mean Machines Rumour Monger

Published By

Mean Machines is an all-in-one retail and entertainment concept slated for Australia that will feature an on-site restaurant, cafe, clothing and collectibles, an outdoor cinema, and classic cars for sale. They also build bikes — sharp ones like the Rumour Monger that can be bought via their website by those with deep enough pockets.

While the Rumour Monger is built from a 2010 Triumph Bonneville, it’s the bike’s tank and seat — both of which had been lying around the shop for quite some time — that dictated which direction the build went. Notable features of the build include a shortened springer front-end along with custom bars, custom shocks, and a rebuilt subframe that, along with a 21-inch wheel up front and a 19-inch wheel in the rear, created a sort of vintage look akin to a board track racing bike.
