Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept

Published By

Designed as a police car of the future that could adapt to increased traffic, crowded residential areas, and rough terrain, the Ener-G-Force Concept vehicle by Mercedes-Benz was intended to be tough as well as intimidating. It is closely modeled after the popular G-class SUV, and features headlamps incorporated into the front grille, big 20-inch wheels, a rear pullout compartment to easily access tools and equipment, a “Terra- Scan” 360-degree topography scanner on the roof that scans the terrain and uses the results to adjust the springs, built in emergency lights on the roof, and illuminated side skirts.
The most unique feature? The Ener-G-Force only emits water. Thats right, its a mean green machine. It comes equipped with tanks of recycled water on the roof, which is transferred to the “hydro-tech converter,” where it is converted into hydrogen that operates the fuel cells. The power generated from this mechanism is stored in the side skirts. Don’t get too excited about the thought of taking it on the trails just yet. It was intended to be a 2025 model. By then it could very well be a time machine.
