Inspired by their G-Class SUV, Mercedes-Benz developed the G-Wagon LAPV 6.X concept some time ago as an armored patrol vehicle for dangerous areas of the world where simple police cars just won’t suffice. Its boasts a steel body with reinforced armor plating throughout, including the underbody for minefield and off road protection. Additional features include a diesel engine, an adjustable suspension system with over 18-inches of ground clearance, a tire inflation system, hydraulic disc brakes, and a state of the art communications system. This zombie ready concept vehicle will be available probably never. But at least it offers great ideas on building your own should the dead ever walk the Earth.
