Mossberg 590 Shockwave

Published By

Since it’s release in January of this year, the Mossberg Shockwave 12 gauge shotgun — with it’s short 14-inch barrel — has literally been one of the highest-selling firearms of 2017. And now, the heralded pump-action will also be available in a 20 gauge version for 2018.

Like it’s larger, 12-gauge counterpart, the 20 gauge 590 Shockwave features an ambidextrous safety, dual extractors, twin action bars, anti-jam elevator, a Raptor Bird’s Head pistol grip that minimizes recoil, and a home defense-friendly, 14-inch barrel.

Speaking of the 14-inch barrel, the fact that its under 18 inches and not intended to be fired from the shoulder — along with a total overall length of 26.3 inches means that it is not a firearm as defined by the National Firearms Act. Learn more about both the 12 and 20 gauge models at Mossberg.
