Motokouture BMW S 1000 R Turbo

For Steven Decaluwe of Belgium-based Motokouture Motorcycles, the stock 199 horsepower of the BMW S 1000 RR street bike just wasn’t enough to satisfy his need for speed. So he stripped one down to nothing, and rebuilt it from the ground up into a satisfying turbocharged street machine.

Along with new Öhlins forks, a new carbon fiber swing arm wrap, new BMW HP4 wheels, and a custom-made seat and electronics box, Decaluwe installed a Garret turbocharger and electronic actuator — tucked cleanly beneath a custom fuel tank and air box — along with new air intakes and custom exhaust headers to accommodate the bike’s newly-found power.

Word has it that the new bike emerged from the shop with 296 horsepower and a top speed of 319 km/hour. Learn more at Bike EXIF.
