Despite endless fields of grain and pure mountain lakes, streams and rivers ideal for crafting whiskey, the great state of Montana hadn’t seen a distillery in more than 100 years before RoughStock Montana Whiskey decided to set up shop. Their Pure Malt, Straight Rye, and Straight Bourbon Whiskeys are crafted from world class grains, unfiltered, aged in brand new charred American white oak barrels, distilled under 160 Proof in custom copper pot stills, and barreled at or above 125 proof.
Along with the Malt, Rye, and Bourbon whiskeys you’ll find the Spring Wheat Whiskey, a cask-aged wheater finished with French oak, a Black Label single barrel version of their straight bourbon, and the Sweet Corn Whiskey, an un-aged corn mash distilled into something much better than what you’d find in your grandfather’s homemade moonshine still.
