Suzuki E-Survivor Concept

There’s something about concept vehicles that gets all the best parts of the imagination running. They run the gambit from impractical to improbable and, occasionally, impossible. And yet they never fail to capture our attention and keep us crossing our fingers that they’ll make it to production. When it comes to the Suzuki E-Survivor Concept, we might be crossing our toes, too.

The E-Survivor hits the “what the future will look like, as imagined in the past” design points familiar in concept vehicles, marrying nostalgia with the unknown. For this Concept, that plays out in a T-bar frame reminiscent of the 90s with a futuristic interface display, LED wheels, and unnecessary-but-no-less-fun transparent doors. The future will also be electric and autonomous, it seems.

The compact SUV brings together the ground covering capability of its 4WD predecessors with the power of dual front-rear motor axle electric motors which are ready to support autonomous driving. Suzuki’s far-ahead market projection for the E-Concept extends up to 100 years into the future, so while crossing your fingers won’t do any harm, holding your breath for this one would be ill-advised.
