Tamarit Moto Muralla Motorcycle

Many custom bikes are built to suit client whims. But few whims are as whimsical as this: President of the Alicante Triumph Club, David Gavina wanted to travel along a route of the Silk Road, starting on the southeastern coast of Spain and ending 18,000 miles away in China, winding through such places as Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey along the way. And he wanted to do it in one month, alone, averaging about 600 miles a day.

Spanish custom shop Tamarit Motorcycles was happy to help him out. A 2016 Triumph Bonneville T120 was the bike chosen for the honor of the build. To accommodate the epic journey, they added a luggage carrier on back and two 5-liter gas cans on either side of the extra comfortable seat. Updated handlebars hold a GPS and smartphone, with a powerstrip to charge them. Finished off with a pearlescent olive paint job, a stubby fender and a grill over the headlight, the Muralla is ready to ride (really, crazily far). Learn more at Tamarit Motorcycles.
