Fast is good. Fastest is better. Unveiled at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas, Hennessey’s Venom F5 (F5 as in tornado) was built from the ground up to be the fastest road car on the planet. How fast? Designed to go from 0 – 187 mph in under 10 seconds, with a projected top speed of 300 mph — that’s how fast.
Helping it achieve this aim is a V8 twin turbo engine that churns out 1,600 horsepower. The all carbon-fiber body is all about aerodynamics, with a drag coefficient of .33. That’s higher than say, an Audi A6 or even a Prius, but a car this fast needs a little downforce to keep it from launching into orbit. They’re making 24 of these hypercars and you can have one in exchange for 1.6 million of your American dollars. – $1,600,000
