The opportunity to own a very rare 1959 Porsche 356A Convertible D in excellent condition doesn’t happen everyday. As one of just 1,330 356A Convertible D models made in 1959, this particular example may be one of the finest in existence. Offered as part of Mohr Imports’ Monterey Car Week Collection, this Convertible D has been properly cared for.

Repainted, reupholstered and restored in 1990, this 356A is in great shape, inside and out. Under different ownership, it was again painted to factory Meissen Blue in 2009. The numbers-matching 1.6L flat-four cylinder engine was rebuilt in 2012. The four-speed manual transaxle case replaced the old one in 1989. Vintage ventilated 15-inch steel wheels with polished hubcaps pair with 165/80 Classic All-Season Radial tires as it stands today.

The interior on this 356A looks just as good as the exterior. Tasteful tan Speedster-esque seating, a rear luggage rack, an aftermarket Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, and headlight stone guards add to the total package. There are over 200 incredible photos available on the Bring A Trailer website to further showcase the showroom quality of this 356A.
