1962 Wilt Chamberlain 100-Point Game Ticket Stub
Everything about Wilt Chamberlain is larger than life: His towering seven foot one inch height, his imposing 275 pound bodyweight, even his insatiable appetite for the ladies (his lawyer Sy Goldberg once famously said “Some people collect stamps, Wilt collected women.”). Yes, the Big Dipper has many amazing stats to his name—but perhaps none more impressive than being the only player in the NBA to ever score 100 points in a single game.
That game happened on March 2, 1962, at the Hershey Sports Arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Chamberlain set five other league records during that game, including “most free throws made” (doubly impressive since by all accounts, he was a terrible free throw shooter). Sad for basketball history’s sake, there is no recorded video footage of the game—so if you want to lay your hands on a piece of this monumental event, you’ll need to hold onto this authentic ticket stub instead.
