Advertising, thought it may have started as simple explanations of a product’s benefits and features, has practically become an art form in its own right. Who doesn’t have a commercial, or a magazine ad from their childhood, that’s stuck in their mind forever as part of their cultural heritage?
That’s why we’re excited to see where Ad Patina is taking this recognition of the “ad as art form”. Straight from the pages of vintage magazines, the brand is carefully restoring the original advertisements and giving them a full artistic treatment in a photo frame. This example, of the original 1970 ad for the legendary Doxa Sub 300T, looks like it would make a perfect complement to any home office or creative space.
