1971 Harley Davidson FLH Shovelhead – Jamesville

Published By

James Roper-Caldbeck is the owner of Jamesville Motorcycles, a custom bike shop in Copenhagen that custom builds, restores, and repairs 1930’s-1980’s vintage Harley Davidson motorcycles. One of his latest and one of our favorites is this 1971 Harley Davidson FLH Shovelhead, which came to him in its original condition.

James went to work on the bike, outfitting it with a new electrical system, an SCO moped gas tank, a rear fender from an HD Super Glide motorcycle, 19-inch Akront aluminum wheels on which sit Excelsior Comp-H tires, and a red leather Tuck n’ Roll seat. He also replaced the plastic gas cap with a custom made aluminum one. See more at Jamesville Motorcycles.
