1975 Mercedes-Benz Unimog 406

Coming into fruition following World War II, the Mercedes-Benz Unimog was intended to serve the needs of the agriculture community but soon saw heavy use in both military and remote firefighting operations thanks to it’s impressive off-road capabilities in mountainous and desert terrains.

Finding one like this 1975 406 model can prove difficult, because only 353 of them were built between 1974 and 1986. Luckily, this restored beauty is up for auction and features an original exchange 5.7 liter diesel engine with 1,478 hours of operation under it’s belt.

Other notable features include new batteries, a 12V power outlet, integrated 4×4 with a rear axle differential lock, and a rear loading deck with included stow boxes. Put in your bid over at Bonhams before March 28th to drive it home.
