1991 Mercedes-Benz 250 GD

If it looks a touch militaristic, there’s reason for that. The Mercedes G-Class is used by 63 different armies world wide, that includes the German Armed Forces and the US Marine Corps. This 1991 model, from its olive drab paint job, to the metal gas canister hitched to the back, is clearly leaning on that association.

The 5-digit odometer reads 38,722 kilometers, with no word on how many times that turned over. But since Mercedes-Benz put OM602s engines in GD 250s, there’s a good chance it’ll last a good while longer since those particular diesels have been known to hit the million mile mark.

They aren’t giving up full specs on this one yet, but you can bet it’ll be one of the items getting attention at the 2018 Fort Lauderdale RM Auctions’ sale. – $40,000+
