Cadillac recently unveiled its 2014 model ELR as the first attempt at an Extended Range Electric luxury vehicle. The extended range electric vehicle technology offers up 300+ miles of extremely efficient electric and electric-on-demand driving modes by regenerating energy from the vehicles momentum and converting it to electricity. Other notable driving features include an advanced HiPer Strut front suspension, a Watts link rear suspension, continuous damping control for a smoother ride and handling, as well as Forward Collision Alert, lane departure warning, and side blind zone alert safety features. Along with the eco-friendly and safety intensive features, the ELR boasts sleek styling and a leather-clad, luxurious interior familiar with the Cadillac brand. Available early next year.
