Jaguar/Landrover recently unveiled their fastest, most powerful sports car at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the Jaguar XFR-S available as a 2014 model. It features Jaguar’s beefed-up 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine along with an 8-speed transmission that deliver an impressive 550 horsepower. High performance features included in the design include larger front air intakes in the lower bumper that allow more air into the engine, an aluminum quad cam engine and lightweight aluminum block, and a twin vortex supercharger with a temperature reducing water-cooling circuit for increased power and efficiency. The result is a 0-60mph time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 186 miles per hour, enough power for any guy looking for a thrill on the back roads.
