Its been forty years since Porsche first assigned the 911 Turbo to their stock of high-performance vehicles, which would go on to serve as the pinnacle of their lineup. To celebrate the iconic sports car’s prosperous journey, Porsche presents the 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo ($148,000+).
Available in two models, the Turbo and the Turbo S, they feature an all-wheel-drive system, rear axle steering, new adaptive aerodynamics, an updated anti-roll system, and a body that sits a little over an inch wider. Under the hood sits a powerful turbocharged 3.8-Liter fuel-injected six cylinder engine responsible for 520 horsepower in the Turbo, and a cool 560 horsepower and top speed of 198 MPH in the Turbo S model. If its dashing good looks aren’t enough to get your heart racing with excitement, its 0-60 time of a mere 2.9 seconds should do the trick. Available for purchase later this year.
