Although they specialize in high-end racing bikes of the modern era, Yamaha Motor sports also appreciates the vintage appeal of the custom bikes springing up around the world thanks to custom shops like Deus Ex Machina. It’s this appreciation that brings the XJR1300 Motorcycle back into the lineup for 2015.
In contrast to their supersport counterparts, the XJR1300 sports a stripped-down frame and a slim, vintage-inspired fuel tank along with a 4-2-1 matte black exhaust, a newly-designed muffler tail cap, and a 98 horsepower 4-cylinder DOHC 1,250 fuel-injected engine. Available in Power Blue, Matte Grey, and Midnight Black color schemes this December in Europe. No word yet on availability in the United States. Learn more at Yamaha Motors.
