Growing up, the Porsche was the “It” car thanks to appearances like the red 944 driven by Molly Ringwald’s high-school beau in Sixteen Candles. It’s hard to believe the company that creates these speedy automobiles is turning 70, but it’s not all bad.
Now Porsche can start offering exclusive Heritage models like the soon-to-be-released 2019 911 Speedster, an open-top, two-seater based on the 991 but offering a Guards Red nod to the 1988 911 G-Model Speedster, along with an exclusive accessory line for ample personalization. Both stylish and sporty, this concept, first unveiled in Zuffenhausen in June of 2018, will go into production next year. With only 1,948 units up for grabs, however, you’ll want to submit your pre-order post haste. – Learn More
