As Britain’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, many people around the world celebrate Triumph’s historic legacy. The Triumph Tiger 1200 carries a reputation for being capable of handling some of the most inhospitable desert conditions in the world. Challenging desert conditions are no match for the new 2020 Triumph Tiger Desert Edition. This bike is for riders with the most extreme adventurous spirits.

The 2020 Triumph Tiger 1200 Desert Edition features a special edition paint scheme. This special edition paint is exclusive to this motorcycle. Triumph calls it a Sandstorm paint scheme with exclusive Desert Edition graphics. The colors and graphics look sharp on the bike’s modern design.

Triumph upgrades the mid-spec Tiger XCx with premium equipment to enhance the riding experience and offer more value. The end result is the new Tiger 1200 Desert Edition with a high-spec setup including a lightweight silencer. This premium Arrow silencer is 4.6 pounds lighter than the standard equipment and delivers an angrier exhaust note.

Triumph’s innovative Shift Assist technology enables clutchless gear changes with a smoother ride. This feature comes as standard equipment on the Triumph Tiger 1200 Desert Edition. Of course, the Tiger 1200 Desert Edition 1215 cc engine is quite powerful, making the Triumph Shift Assist feature even more convenient.

Speaking of the engine, it is a liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC in-line 3 cylinder. It cranks out 141 horsepower with 90 foot pounds of torque. This powerful engine connects to a 6-speed gearbox giving riders plenty of gears to experience wide-open throttle adventures.

One of the best features on the 2020 Triumph Tiger 1200 Desert Edition motorcycle is a premium adjustable WP suspension system. Triumph’s Semi Active Suspension (TSAS) enables riders to electronically control the ride type.

Other state-of-the-art equipment and features include LED lighting, cornering ABS technology and traction control. Riders can also choose from five riding modes: Rain, Road, Off-Road, Sport, or Off-Road Pro. Even the seat features 2 adjustable positions to accommodate different riders.

There are so many other advanced features on this bike that you really have to see it to appreciate the finer details. It’s a good thing Triumph’s website features a Test Ride button, because there is a lot of interest in the 2020 Tiger 1200 Desert Edition. Reconnect with your sense of adventure while riding a Triumph.
