Chevy builds the 2021 Tahoe using an all-new chassis providing a longer wheelbase. This design enables the roomy passenger and spacious cargo experience. Combined with the suspension, this new chassis creates a smooth ride with improved handling capabilities when compared to older generations.
Early signs point to Chevy making a 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel inline-6 cylinder engine as an available option for the new Tahoe. They have also updated the available V8 gasoline engines with Dynamic Fuel Management technology. There is a 5.3L V8 and a 6.2L V8 option for those who prefer gasoline engines. A 10-speed automatic transmission featuring push-button electronic shifting comes standard with all 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe engine options.
Set to go on sale in the middle of 2020, Chevy’s new Tahoe is stylish and very capable.
