No one expects your F-150 to go faster than a Mustang — but this one can. Hennessey is known for their ability to take something good and turn it into something jaw dropping, and the Venom 800 Supercharged Ford F-150 is no different. Starting with a 2021 F-150 Platinum Edition SuperCrew 4-door, Hennessy added a 3.0L supercharger system along with a cold air induction system, and an upgraded fuel pump and exhaust to the already beefy 5.0L V8. The result is a truck that improves upon the stock 400 HP, doubling it to 800.
In four wheel drive, the Venom can do 0 to 60 in just 3.6 seconds. Consider the 2021 Mustang was clocked going from stand-still to 60 in about 4.4 seconds and that speed is something to celebrate — and get out of the way of. Of course, trucks can go places a sports car can only dream of, and the Venom gets even more off-road toughness with its beefy 35 inch AT tires, a suspension system upgrade, and massive six-inch lift. Not only can this go faster than a sports car, it can probably drive over it too.
As is their way, Hennessy did more than just tweak with the mechanics. On the exterior, the grille and bumper get a branded face lift along with an LED lights package, just so everyone knows exactly what’s heading towards them.
According to Hennessy, the Venom name is reserved for only “very special” vehicles, if anything is worthy, this is. The upgrade will run you around $150k, and just 100 will be made in 2021. Order yours direct from Hennessy or at your Ford dealership starting around April of the coming year.
