Fans of the Ford Bronco know how historic the 1966 model year is to the family. That’s what makes the 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition SUVs so appealing to long-time fans and enthusiasts. The Heritage Edition pays homage to the 1966 Bronco in several ways, it is an excellent modern tribute to the legendary past.
You will notice the Oxford White-painted roof right away. Some of the other classic-inspired finishing touches on the Heritage Bronco include a unique Oxford White grille with red Ford letters, Heritage wheels, and even custom Bronco fender graphics tipping their cap to the past with a contemporary touch.
You can even choose classic-inspired colors for the exterior of the Heritage Edition Bronco. Some of the colors available include Robin’s Egg Blue or Yellowstone Metallic. Heritage Edition Bronco SUVs will be available in both two-door and four-door configurations.
Under the hood you will find the peppy 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder turbocharged engine. In select configurations it can deliver up to 300 horsepower with 325 pound-feet of torque. Heritage Editions will be available with your choice of a seven-speed manual transmission or the 10-speed automatic.
There is also a Heritage Limited Edition offering the increased capability of the Badlands package with a larger 2.7L V6 turbocharged EcoBoost engine. This engine produces up to 330 hp with 415 pound-feet of torque and comes with the 10-speed automatic transmission.
Of course, there is some fine print worth noting. Ford will only be building a total of 1,966 Heritage Edition Bronco examples, so not everyone will be able to get one. On top of that, customers can already place their order for a Heritage Bronco so the time to act is right now if you want to add this capable off-roader to your stable.
Ford continues to master the legendary Bronco each year. The 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition SUVs combine an ode to the past with modernized technology and improved capability.
