The iconic Corvette ZR1 is making a triumphant return next year and is poised to be the fastest and most powerful Corvette ever produced by the automotive giant. Powering the supercar will be a 5.5L twin-turbocharged DOHC flat-plane crank V8 engine. Dubbed the LT7, this engine features optimized valve timing, a new intake system, and twin turbochargers that will deliver an impressive 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque.
A carbon fiber aero package that generates over 1,200 pounds of downforce, coupled with the insanely-powerful engine mentioned above, will give the new ZR1 a top speed well over 215 mph and a sub 10-second quarter-mile time.

Another notable feature we’re most excited about is the inclusion of the iconic split rear window design made famous on the 1963 Corvette (our favorite car ever made, in Daytona Blue specifically). Production for the 2025 Corvette ZR1 begins in 2025 at GM’s Bowling Green Assembly Plant.
