5.11 Compact Operator Axe

When you think of an axe, you probably picture the Paul Bunyan special, complete with a long, wooden handle topped by a mammoth, double-sided axe head.  However, modern axes need not be large or imposing to get the job done – you can find space-saving models that deliver the same practical function as axes of old, and then some.

The Compact Operator Axe does just that at a mere 10 inches in length (down from the 15-inch original) and armed with multi-tool functionality.  Forged in steel, this mini axe delivers not only an axe blade paired with a waffle textured hammer head, but also a ruler, a prybar/nail puller, a dual hex bit with Phillips and flat head, and notches to accommodate paracord wrapping on the handle.
