Aston Martin brought some pretty (and pretty fast) cars to this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Among the highlights was their batch of mid-engine supercars which included the Valkyrie, the AM-RB 003, and this shiny concept, the Vanquish Vision. All three feature Aston Martin’s in-house engineered twin-turbo V-6 engine. But unlike the other two, with their carbon fiber treatments, the Vanquish Vision gets a bespoke aluminum chassis.
The Vanquish Vision is set to become the British car company’s first series production mid-engine supercar, and is scheduled to go into production in 2022. The look is all smooth lines and curves, a more accessible departure from the aggressively styled Valkyrie, with its cut-out, F-1 inspired design. The Vanquish is undeniably a supercar, but a supercar in which flowing aesthetics figure into the picture as much as power.
