Auto Fabrica Type 8

Published By

When British motorcycle shop Auto Fabrica was confronted with a Honda CX500, they decided to leave the unique frame as is and build the entire design around it. After stripping the bike down completely to said frame and shortening the forks, they outfitted it with a selection of parts that would compliment the bike’s awkward frame, such as a hand-built aluminum gas tank, a perforated leather seat, spoked wheels, Maxton springs, Hagon shocks, and a new custom exhaust system built from stainless steel. Powering the redesigned Honda is the original engine, albeit rebuilt with new heads, and rebuilt carbs that now run foam filters. Learn more about the build at Bike EXIF.
