BIB & TUCKER 12-Year-Old Single Barrel Select Bourbon

The phrase “don’t judge a book by its cover” also applies to whiskey. Plenty of good ones have bottles that aren’t winning any design contests. But this one from Bib & Tucker is leaning hard on the pretty bottle angle with an oldey timey, apothecary-style bottle with deep amber glass and embossed script. Word is that the custom bottles even delayed the release of their whiskey when the brand first came on the scene back in 2014.

To match the beauty of the bottle, the stuff inside Bib & Tucker’s 12-Year-Old Single Barrel Select Bourbon is aged from Tennessee-distilled whiskey in barrels with the lightest char used for bourbon. The result is a smooth and creamy whiskey with toasted honey and a chestnut finish. Their six and ten year bourbons have amassed awards and accolades aplenty.  Now their 12-year aims to do the same. Just look for the coolest bottle on the shelf.
