Blood Type Racing Ford Explorer Limited Hybrid SUV

Blood Type Racing has a reputation for making dreams come true through bringing concepts into reality. They usually specialize in tuning compact cars, but now BTR is ready to announce the first 2020 Ford Explorer Limited Hybrid SUV modified by the aftermarket tuning industry.

The Blood Type Racing Ford Explorer Limited Hybrid SUV has a Ford Performance skid plate and is lowered with a half-inch suspension leveling kit to prepare the SUV for its next adventure. This hybrid sports utility vehicle features a mean looking stance thanks to the 20 inch Ace Alloy AFF09 black chrome wheels wrapped in low-profile Toyo Open Country all-terrain tires.

Ford equips the vehicle with a 3.3 liter hybrid V6 engine but BTR has added a Borla cat-back exhaust system with black chrome tips to give the SUV a nice throaty sound. There are several more chrome additions such as the front grill and bumper accents by Lacks Trim Systems. Custom door handle accents and lower door moldings complete the black chrome theme.

To top it all off, there are two custom BTR snowboards by Blank attached on a Yakima carrier mounted to the Ford Accessories roof rack crossbars. With the Ford play rear seat entertainment system by Voxx, there should be plenty of fun on the drive out into the wilderness. Unfortunately, this BTR Explorer is only a one-off created for SEMA, but it should provide great inspiration for any Ford Explorer enthusiast or tuner out there.

“Sustainable exploration of both road and trail.”
