C SEED 201 Outdoor TV

Published By

Next year, Austrian audio visual company, C SEED will introduce an outdoor television that costs 1.5 million dollars. If that feels a little steep for you, there’s still a chance to get in on their current model, which runs about a third of the price. It’s called the C SEED 201 Outdoor Television and, as the price would suggest, it’s not an afternoon-install kind of outdoor TV. When not in use, it lives underground in a sealed chamber. Press a button on the remote and it rises, monolith-like from the ground and unfolds into a 201-inch LED screen that towers 15 feet (but you can adjust it to whatever height you want).

The set is designed to withstand most weather (though you might want to put it away should the wind rise up) and it will give off a bright picture even in sunlight. Twelve speakers and three subwoofers deliver big audio to match the massive picture and the TV will output from anything with an HDMI cable. Get one and you’ll be able to host a neighborhood movie night or invite fifty people over to watch the game — but first, start digging the hole.
