Chattanooga Whiskey

Published By

Whiskey has a rich history in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Because of prohibition, however, the last distillery in Chattanooga packed up and left nearly a century ago. In the fight to bring whiskey back to Chattanooga and restore its heritage, Chattanooga Whiskey 1816 was brought to life. The 1816 is in reference to the year that John Ross landed on the river banks of Chattanooga. The Whiskey is aged three years in charred American white oak mashed barrels of the traditional corn, rye, and malted barley, and available in the 90 proof 1816 Reserve, and the 113.6 proof 1816 Cask. Both are unbelievably smooth.
