Gateway Electric Ford Bronco

It feels like we’ve been talking about Ford’s upcoming, all-new Bronco for a few years now. So as we await its Spring 2020 release, let’s feast our eyes on a beautifully restored first-gen Bronco — with something a little different under the hood.

Powered by an electric motor built by Electric GT and a 200-mile Tesla battery, this classic-on-the-outside can go from zero to 60mph in under six seconds — juuuuust a bit faster than the 20 or so seconds it took an original 1967 Bronco. And with 400 horsepower, it’s closer to Ford Mustang numbers than it is to Bronco stats.

It’s finished in a brilliant blue with chestnut leather seats — but unlike most fantasy-inducing customs, one of these particular four-by-four Broncos could potentially be yours. The fundraising platform Omaze has two of these right now. Enter to win, and the Bronco, plus twenty grand in cash could come home with you — and each entry supports the charity Big League Impact. With a combined value (car plus cash) of over $300k, it certainly couldn’t hurt to try for it.
