Without GoPro we might never see what it’s like to drop with paratroopers, backflip a mountain bike, or surf the Pipeline, unless we did all of those things ourselves. Now the unbreakable, 1st person camera maker wants your next adventure video to get everybody even closer to being there. Underwater, the GoPro Fusion is waterproof up to 16 feet and like other GoPros, it’s mountable and now comes with even better stabilization.
The new angle here is the dual cameras. One on the front and one on the back simultaneously capture 180º footage. The cameras are slightly offset so when those 2 sets of footage are stitched together, it’s pretty much seamless. The result is what they call OverCapture — 360º of footage that you can select, edit and manipulate into a virtual reality video that makes everyone feel like they were there. – $700
