Let us pretend for a moment that the seven or so sequels to the original Halloween film from 1978 never happened, and 40 years later Michael Myers returns to Haddonfield to finish off Laurie Strode — the one that survived — once and for all. That’s the basic premise of Halloween 2018, which hits theaters this October.
Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as a much older Laurie Strode who is waiting for her final confrontation with Michael Myers. John Carpenter, the director of the original Halloween film, also returns to the franchise as executive producer and creative consultant to director David Gordon Green. See it in theater October 19th, 2018.
