Hennessey HPE1200 Twin Turbo C8 Corvette

Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) has been modifying and tuning cars to improve their performance for years. Their latest project is a Hennessey HPE 1200 Twin Turbo C8 Corvette. Hennessey is packing 1200 horsepower into the new Corvette C8.

To achieve 1200 horsepower, HPE built a special twin turbo system that includes a LT2 V8 engine with upgraded engine internals such as forged aluminum pistons and forged steel connecting rods. HPE will also utilize an upgraded and fortified factory dual clutch transmission for the Twin Turbo C8.

The HPE1200 will also offer Hennessey’s signature CarbonAero carbon fiber body upgrades with a front splitter and rear carbon fiber wing. HPE will offset the added power with a fully upgraded Brembo brake system along with an adjustable Penske suspension. Additionally, HPE provides wheel and tire upgrades to help all this power get to the ground.

To ensure the Hennessey HPE 1200 Twin Turbo C8 Corvette sounds as nasty as it looks, HPE will include a stainless-steel exhaust system. The modified exhaust will also provide a slight power increase in addition to the improved sound. Hennessey also plans to offer a supercharger system upgrade for up to 700 horsepower once computer tuning becomes available for the C8 engine platform.

Hennessey has modified over 500 C7 Corvettes since 2013 and they plan to modify plenty of C8 Vettes starting in 2020. Hennessey’s upgraded parts and modifications come with a warranty for added peace of mind.

To register your interest in the HPE modified Corvette C8, Hennessey has created a helpful C8 Corvette questionnaire that interested buyers can fill out on their website. Simply fill one out and get ready for the most extreme Corvette experience yet.
