Hennessey always goes down smooth with a kick which is exactly what they did to this Bronco. They maintain the practical drivability of Ford’s 2.7L twin-turbo V6 engine while adding the kind of power you expect from the iconic 4×4 SUV.
With Hennessey’s expertise, the Velociraptor 400 Bronco stampedes with 405 brake horsepower which translates to about 410 hp. They are able to squeeze 503 pound-feet of torque from the twin-turbo V6. Modern Bronco off-roading just got nasty.
The Velociraptor Bronco can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds and it even comes with a 3-year, 36,000-mile limited warranty from Hennessey. All the more reason to run free.
You may be wondering how they were able to add 75 hp and 88 pound-feet of torque over a stock 2021 Ford Bronco. They began by upgrading the intake and exhaust system. Then they slap a new engine tune in the CPU which presumably also increases boost.
From there, Hennessey also offers an off-road package that adds 35-inch tires on 18-inch rims. The package includes front and rear Velociraptor bumpers, retractable side steps, and other accents. Total pricing for the Velociraptor 400 package runs about $80,000 when including the base 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands required for the Hennessey tuning.
Make no mistake about it, the Hennessey Velociraptor 400 Bronco can still deliver the comfortable daily driving you already enjoy. You just have a little power on tap should you find a situation where it becomes necessary.
