Although reliable and worth the money, not many American enthusiasts are waiting in long lines to buy a Honda Civic anymore. That may change, however, with Honda’s introduction of the Civic Type R Prototype at the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas next month. Although details are scant, especially regarding what will lie beneath the vehicle’s hood, we do know that the high-performance Civic Type R is based off of the brand’s Civic Hatchback and will be available for purchase in the United States.
