Hopworks Gear Up IPA

Published By

When a brewery likes to experiment with new and interesting brews, there are hits, there are misses, and there are those beers deemed good enough to get a forever home on the brewery’s year-round lineup. Portland, Oregon-based Hopworks certainly likes to try new things. They’ve got a huge range of seasonals, along with a Win-Win series that features beers made with ingredients from eco-champion companies they’ve teamed up with over the years. They’ve also got a series called the Imperial Hop Experiments — not hard to guess what happens there.

So along with this mix of eternally evolving brews, Hopworks has been at work on a new IPA that you can get whenever the fancy strikes. Made from organic barley from Oregon and hops from Oregon and Washington, the light-bodied ale is golden in color and not too bitter. Notes of tropical fruit pair with the resinous hop flavors and it comes in an adventure-ready can. No need to wait for a season. This one is good whenever. Learn more at Hopworks Urban Brewery.
