I Am C-3PO: The Inside Story

Published By

As the only actor to appear in every Star Wars movie (as Tak instead of C-3PO in Solo), you can bet Anthony Daniels has a few stories to tell. Very soon, you’ll get to read those stories for yourself in his memoir, I Am C-3PO: The Inside Story. He first donned the gold costume in 1976 for Star Wars: A New Hope and earlier this year finished filming The Rise of Skywalker. That’s a good forty-plus years of playing and voicing one of the most recognizable characters on the planet.

Considering his character’s long history and string of alliances — being built by Anakin, then serving under Padme, Luke, and Leia — Daniels has a pretty good vantage point to view the entirety of the cinematic Star Wars history form. And while the protocol droid is fluent in over six-million (and eventually seven-million) forms of communication, the book will be available in English.
