Jeep QuietKat e-Bike

Published By

After driving, out of necessity, a ‘98 Wrangler for many years, I can say this about that Jeep: It gobbled roads — and gas. Unmaintained dirt roads plus melting snow? No problem. MPG? Mid-teens. Now here’s something from Jeep that does all the mud whomping, road gobbling hard work, while requiring zero gas. Billing it as the most capable off road electric mountain bike around, the Jeep QuietKat e-Bike runs on a 750 watt motor paired with a battery that can cover 40 miles on a single charge.

Fat, 4.8-inch tires are equally happy on snow or mud and the Fire-Link suspension will keep the bumps in the road from throwing you off your game. If the bike seems to jog something in your memory, you may have caught a peek of it during Jeep’s Super Bowl commercial starring Bill Murray and his revisit to Groundhog Day. Even if you’ve never seen it before, you’ll get a chance to see it in person starting in June 2020 when the e-Bike will make its off-road, no-gas debut.
