John E. Fitzgerald Larceny Kentucky Bourbon is Heaven Hill distillery’s fairly new small batch bourbon hand selected by their master distillers to resemble the taste of a six-year Kentucky straight bourbon. Its rich, smooth taste can be attributed to its secondary wheat grain instead of the traditional rye, which also delivers a slightly sweet finish to the palate along with fresh bread and butterscotch aromas.
The “Fitzgerald” “Larceny” name pays homage to the Old Fitzgerald brand, named after treasury agent John E. Fitzgerald who, with unlimited access to the bourbon rickhouses, would indulge in the distillery’s finest batches of bourbon straight from the barrels.
