Land Rover Defender SVX ‘Spectre’

When James Bond drove an Aston Martin in Goldfinger everybody wanted one. 007 is still driving them 50 years later. But what about the villains’ cars? Doesn’t anyone want to drive what the bad guys drove? Well now you can. On auction right now is one of only 10 Land Rover Defenders specially made for the 24th Bond movie, Spectre. For a sizeable chunk of change, you can tool around in a car built for a sinister criminal organization.

Sony Pictures started with Land Rover’s Santorini Black crew-cab 110, and sent it to racing specialists Bowler who tweaked and enhanced the Defender to make it worthy of Bond’s ire. With giant 37-inch tires and a full roll cage, along with upgraded rose-joint suspension and engine improvements that increased bhp to 180, the Spectre is one of a kind. Almost literally. – Place your bid
