At Landyachtz Skateboard’s headquarters, over 95% of the employees are skaters themselves, resulting in each piece of skateboarding gear crafted out of a passion for the sport and lifestyle. Not only do these guys create high-quality skateboards from scratch, but they limit the impact their production has on the environment, from reusing scrap cardboard and grip tape backing as packing materials, to utilizing manufacturing equipment from businesses that closed up shop, to operating out of a building that was once in bad enough shape to be torn down. What they can’t use, they recycle. The result is high-quality, beautifully designed skateboards that even mother nature herself would be proud to rip up the asphalt on.
